I don't have time to do a review of this figure so I'm just posting photos for it that I took awhile back. This figure is not as screen accurate as the RiD version but I still really like it. She's a little more badass looking than the RiD version and she has a smaller backpack. I also like her weapons better than the RiD version.

Sometimes you might want to add a second condition to a left outer join. This is pretty straight forward if you know how to do SQL queries. However, Oracle has a short hand notation in which you can use the (+), which is not so straight forward.  ... Read more

I also wanted to try out my Hoya CIR-PL HD filter. What a polarizing filter is supposed to do is remove reflections from non-metallic objects where the sun is coming from the side. It's also used to deepen blues of the sky. Here's an example without the circular polarizing filter.

And here with the circular polarizing filter.

That's a pretty dramatic difference. But here's an example where it didn't seem to help that much. Here's without the polarizing filter.

And here is with the polarizing filter.

In this case, I think prefer it without the polarizing filter.

This is the black repaint of ToyWorld's TW-02 Orion. Orion is supposed to be the IDW comic representation of Optimus Prime. I didn't get Orion because something was off about it to me. Apparently, it was the colours because the black version just looks awesome! If they re-release Orion in darker colours, I would buy that, too. This is my favourite black repaint of Optimus Prime. This is only the second time where I've thought that the black repaint of Optimus Prime was better than the original. The first time was the original, RiD Scourge.  ... Read more

What is this? On August 31st, Toronto opened parts of its streets to pedestrians and cyclists from 8am to noon. The streets that were opened to pedestrians were Yonge Street from Bloor to Queen Street and Bloor Street from Spadina Avenue to Parliament Street.

I've been watching some photography videos on YouTube and I learned that these photos probably could have been improved by using a circular polarizing filter to remove reflections from the water and to give the sky colour a richer blue. I'm thinking about getting the Hoya Filter CIR-PL HD.
